This course aims to deepen students' understanding and practical application of social science methodologies while expanding their knowledge of relevant vocabulary. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the research tools commonly used by ethnographers, anthropologists, sociologists, and other social scientists. By the end of the course, students will: • Have detailed knowledge of contemporary sociological achievements, key research methodologies, and prominent schools of thought. • Be well-versed in various methods, tools, and techniques for gathering and analyzing data, enabling them to study and describe social structures, organizations, and institutions. • Develop the ability to collaborate effectively within research teams, assuming diverse roles in group research projects. • Be capable of independently expanding their knowledge and research skills, while also encouraging others to engage in similar activities. • Be prepared to tackle professional and personal challenges with initiative and entrepreneurial spirit, while actively contributing to the social environment. |

Introductory Lecture, interactive workshop, discussion, brain mapping, Student workload: 30 h - contact hours 30 h - preparation of the presentation and report from the mini-research, planning, implementation and development of the results of the mini-research, 20 h - reading the indicated works from the literature on the subject. Total 80 h. |
