(tylko po angielsku) Program content The phenomenon of marginalization and its underpinning, childhood at risk of marginalization, social and individual effects of marginalization; socio-pedagogical perspective on the processes and results of marginalization within the two intersecting lines: of human growth considered from the point of view of citizenship and participation; mechanisms of social deprivation, social exclusion, marginalization, social and psychosocial problems; socio-pedagogical response/intervention in the social environment. |
Efekty uczenia się: |
(tylko po angielsku) Knowledge Students know and understand the phenomenon of marginalization and are familiar with selected socio-political phenomena underpinning it; notice and understand the relationships between the phenomenon of marginalization and the development of a child and its functioning in social life, as well as the need to provide individual and collective help to children whose development is at risk; are familiar with the terminology used in social pedagogy. Students know and understand the individual and social effects of childhood at risk of marginalization. Students have extensive knowledge of different types of social structures and institutions of social life, in reference to the social pedagogical approach and their importance from the point of view of educational processes and emancipation. Skills Students can use theoretical knowledge to analyse complex contemporary, pedagogical, and social problems and their relation to child development. Students are able to discover and put forward their own theses, search for arguments in the context of selected perspectives of social pedagogy. Social competence Students demonstrate sensitivity and readiness to act for the benefit of people requiring care, help and special care. |
